| Pole Pedal Paddle |
The U.S. Bank Pole Pedal Paddle will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008.
Teams, pairs, and individual participants are composed of recreational and expert athletes competing from Mt. Bachelor to Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon. The participants alpine ski, cross-country ski, bike, run, canoe/kayak and sprint to the finish! We invite you to take part in the festivities and enjoy Central Oregon.
The Les Schwab Amphitheater area will host a day-long festival of various foods, music, sponsor booths and don't forget, all the cheering and spectating of the PPP participants.

| Liberty Bank Pond Skimming Championships |
The Liberty Bank Pond Skimming Championship is scheduled for Sunday May 18th! Start imagining your costume and style points now as you glide across a pond of ice cold water! Anyone who competes is entered to win an unrestricted season pass for the 2008-2009 season!
Entry is $25
Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers and each entry receives a raffle ticket for the 2008-2009 season pass. Raffle entries must participate in the competition to win the pass.
Competitors are judged on three criteria:
1) clearance of the pond
2) costume
3) style/technique
There will be two rounds. In order to get to the second round you MUST clear the entire pond. The second round points will be added between the three areas and will be judged be our "celebrity" sponsored judges.
Encee Dennis Shaw and DJ's David Miller and Kevin will be present for some season ending blowout fun! Plus an on snow beer garden so you can enjoy some sun, a brew while you watch those daring enough to go for it!
This is the biggest spectator event of the year so bring your friends and family to enjoy our last day of skiing/riding for the season and/or watch an exciting event.
