Signature Start

Advanced reservations are highly recommended for this premium program.  One stop at the West Village Day Care will complete the registration process for your child.  The Day Care department will provide your child with their lesson tickets and rentals if needed. 

Coaches from our Little Rippers program will escort your child from Day Care to our teaching area for their 2 ½ hour lesson.  Class size is guaranteed to be no more than 3 and taught by children’s specific instructors who specialize in working with young children.  Lesson start times are 9:30 and 1:00.  Please plan on registering at Day Care at least 1 hour prior to the lesson start time.  Children who arrive after 9:00 may need to join our 1:00 lesson.  This is a SKIING ONLY program for 3 ½ - 5 year old skiers.  All children must be potty trained and out of diapers.

 Tips for success!

  • Make an advanced reservation as space is limited.  We do have a 24 hour cancellation policy that is strictly enforced.
  • Make sure your child has plenty of sleep the night before.  A good night’s sleep is imperative to your child’s success.
  • Have your child start his or her day with a nutritious breakfast.  While we do have snacks available for students, your child’s favorite snack in their pocket can go a long way.
  • Dress your child in layers, with waterproof outer wear on last.  Goggles for snow days and sunglasses on milder days or strongly suggested.  As always, sunscreen is a must.
  • Give your self extra time to arrive on the mountain.  We do have winter driving conditions and on busy days, traffic can be slower. 
  • Plan on arriving at the West Village Day Care an hour prior to your chosen start time if rentals are needed and 30 minutes if they are not.
  • If you feel a 2 ½ hour lesson is too long for your child try a 1 hour Little Rippers private lesson ($85 regular season OR $95 holiday season) with Day Care (All Day $55 regular season OR $65 holiday season).
